Bhairahawa.
01:00PM You will now be transferred to Lumbini and dropped at the assigned
hotel for check in.

Kathmandu.
04:20PM Once you land in Kathmandu, meet with our guide who will transfer you
to your hotel in Kathmandu. Check in before your evening
Swayambhunath tour.
05:30PM Swayambhunath Tour. Swayambhunath is among the oldest religious
sites in Nepal. According to the Gopālarājavaṃśāvalī, it was founded by
the great-grandfather of King Mānadeva (464-505 CE), King Vṛsadeva,
about the beginning of the 5th century CE. This seems to be confirmed
by a damaged stone inscription found at the site, which indicates that
King Vrsadeva ordered work done in 640 CE.
However, Emperor Ashoka is said to have visited the site in the third
century BCE and built a temple on the hill which was later destroyed.
Although the site is considered Buddhist, the place is revered by both
Buddhists and Hindus. Numerous Hindu monarch followers are known
to have paid their homage to the temple, including Pratap Malla, the
powerful king of Kathmandu, who is responsible for the construction of
the eastern stairway in the 17th century.

Transfer to Boudhhanath Stupa. Named after its immense stupa,
Boudhha is a pilgrimage destination for Tibetans. Devotees stroll around
the gleaming white dome adorned with painted Buddha eyes and visit
nearby monasteries and schools for prayers and seminars. Tucked-away
eateries serve up momos and thukpa noodle soup, while more upmarket
restaurants offer stupa views. Silk thangka paintings are a popular buy
in the area’s souvenir shops.
01:00PM You will be transferred to the airport for you flight back home as per
your flight schedule. You can consult with our guide to transfer you to
the airport as per your schedule.
